Purchasing or selling a pre-owned luxury watch requires confidence in its authenticity. Counterfeit and modified timepieces are increasingly sophisticated, and verification by a knowledgeable specialist is an important step in any significant transaction.
Our watch authentication service involves a careful, detailed inspection of your timepiece to confirm it is genuine. We examine the movement, case, dial, hands, crown, bracelet, and all visible markings against known specifications for the brand and reference.
Please note: Authentication is a specialist visual and physical inspection based on known reference data. We do not open watch movements as part of this service. A written authentication report is provided on completion.
The authentication fee is payable at the time of booking and is based on the complexity of the inspection required. The fee will be confirmed to you in writing before the service commences.
